Holiday Tables 2025, Oct 23, Table Tour from 6:30-7:30 pm (arrive when convenient for you), program in sanctuary at 7:30 pm, snack (this is not a dinner, but a really nice snack) at your table in the Gatheria from 8:30-9:15 pm. You won't want to miss any part of this fun evening!

This event is designed as an opportunity for ladies to host a group they wish to welcome in and celebrate. You get to choose your table theme and show thoughtful hospitality to your guests by decorating for your group. Have fun! Be creative and keep it simple!

You do not have to be a decorate to attend or bring some friends. Simply register as individuals.

We are grateful to have Idlewild member Leah Fox speak on Peacemaking skills from her very personal experience. Leah will help us as we prepare for the holidays and gathering with people we may not see on a regular basis. A right heart for Him matters! Leah has a certificate in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and directs the Biblical Certificate program at Idlewild. It is a joy to have her present timely and practical helps at Holiday Tables. This talk with resonate with many!

To help families in our neighborhood, we are doing a nonperishable food drive. Boxes for the donations will be at the church entrance.

Registration FAQs:

Do I need to supply all my guests' names to complete registration? No, they will check in under your name if they forget the table number you have received and shared with them.

How may I have a table near a friend? Coordinate registering together as you pick your table assignment when you register.

Are there tables with easy access? Yes, along the outer edges are tables near bathrooms and with less congestion.

May I request a specialty snack? No, but your snack will be in a box so you may easily share it with another.  

Is there KidsKare? No.

Does the church supply a table cloth for all the tables? No, the decorator provides the table covering.

How much money does the Women's Ministry make from this event? Nothing.  We set aside $3000 in our budget to do the event. Due to rental and food/beverage costs, the expenses usually exceed $3000. If we ever have a year in which there is revenue from the event, we will put that revenue toward scholarships for other Idlewild Women events. 

May I have multiple tables near one another? Of course, dependent on what is available on the seating chart when you register; register early.

For those decorating, an email will be sent to you with decorating details and a request for you to let us know your theme and decorating team if not specified when you registered. For those decorating a table for their guests (you own all the seats); 8 top $140, 10 top $160.

For those not planning to decorate: Individual registration $25.

As you register, when you choose a table the pricing will reflect whether you are purchasing individual seats or the complete table and decorating for your group.
