Bible Teaching Cohort

Do you have a passion for studying and teaching the Word of God? Are you excited about growing disciples and serving our church?
Idlewild Baptist Church is launching a new Bible Teaching Cohort to train and equip teachers to serve in our Groups (both on and off campus), men’s and women’s Bible study groups, and other teaching opportunities for the future. This 10-week cohort training opportunity will occur on Wednesday Nights (6:30-7:45pm) on campus (Room E-209) as part of the “Institute at Idlewild” course offerings. This Bible Teaching Cohort, like the Pastoral and Missionary cohorts, is designed to be an intentional investment in the future of Idlewild in growing strong and well-equipped ministry leaders, teachers, evangelists, disciple-makers, and church-planters—all firmly grounded in the Bible.
Register today for the Spring 2026 Bible Teaching Cohort beginning on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 and running until Wednesday, June 10, 2026. There is no cost for this course and books and other references will be provided. This initial cohort will have a maximum number of 30 participants, so don’t delay.
